Cooking steps
Terrine is a dish of vegetables, meat or fish, in the form of thin slices. Today we are cooking chicken terrine with sun-dried tomatoes. Minced meat for such a terrine is better to do in a food processor. If there is no such thing, then just cut the meat and use an immersion blender.
For cooking, we will prepare the products according to the list. Chop the onion finely and fry in sunflower oil until tender. We put it in minced meat. Add an egg, finely chopped garlic and spices. We mix everything well. Add milk. Again, mix everything well.
Pour the milk into the minced meat. The mass will be very soft and airy. Add the chopped dried tomatoes, mix.
Put the sun-dried tomatoes. We spread the baking dish with slices of bacon, as shown in the photo. The slices should hang down.
Lay out the form with bacon. Spread the mixture, smooth it out.
Lay out the minced meat and cover with bacon. Bake at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes. During the baking process, a lot of liquid is formed. Let the terrine cool down a little, pour the liquid carefully so as not to burn yourself. Leave the terrine at room temperature to cool completely. Then we wrap it in foil and put it in the refrigerator, ideally overnight to set. Chicken terrine with dried tomatoes is ready. Cut into thin slices and serve to the table.
Bon Appetit!
